If you have a Family & are calling for one or more watch the time you call the Practice because time yourself & keep Telephone Records. With. Five Part Time Drs between them they cannot manage 5500 Patients. Other Health Centres have 8000 plus Patients & can Manage with 6 Drs Part time. They have No decent Technology at all they cannot do Electronic Prescriptions, they do not allow a Pharmacy 4 U or any other Prescription Delivery Companies deliver either, you have to collect your own Prescriptions & then take it to a Chemist! They do not let you know Test Results Quick enough at all. They expect you to remember over 3 Months any Injections you have Regularly. Its old fashioned at the St Briavels Site, it has an horrendously old fashioned toilet, this is for Men, Women & Children. If Your Immunosuppressed going on a toilet used by so many people is extremely dangerous of germs but Covid especially. Only one real Dr in Charge that has no idea of a lot of illnesses even two with 50 plus experience do not understand Complex Medical Conditions, nor want too! They can contaminate Urine Samples by Dip Testing, as they can give a False Negative. If they Dip Test before its sent away they contaminate the Sample. This can give a False Negative, it takes 3 days to Culture. Ecoli can be missed for months & so can food poisoning, so I would encourage anyone to not hesitate to get a Second Opinion. The Reception Staff have been nice apart from one that I complained about as she put the phone down on me because she was having a bad day. Its not a Practice of Excellence not at all, they make plenty of mistakes. You can be really fair but be treated unfairly in certain situations. I waited a whole year to get a copy of my Medical Records it should take 6 weeks only! With no Cost. The problem is that its Registered Welsh it confuses 999 Ambulances, Confuses 111 & you never know if you will actually get Welsh Out of Hours or English. I have given one star because the Policies Online & what your given when you join the Practice the Leaflet is totally different, they do not match up at all. I would like to recommend them, but I cannot because they are not accurate in their diagnoses especially in Children, 12 months you can take a Child & they cry in front of the same GP yet this GP fails to pick up on something so serious that it has one of the highest mortality rates in the UK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND & TIME KEEPING IS HORRENDOUS!
