Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome place to have a pint and some good foods after browsing the farmers market It is also dog friendly !!!.

One of Saffron Waldens nicer gastropubs. Fresh food coming out piping hot.. Solid menu, nice cozy atmosphere.

It doesn't matter if you go in the daytime or the evening, the welcome you receive is a good one. The staff are energetic and do all they can to get you served quickly. There is a very good selection of wines, real ales and lagers. I have never been let down by the food wether it be a Sunday roast or a sandwich at lunch. The main bar is full of character with a log burner making it feel cosy during the winter months. You will not be disappointed.
