The Costa Coffee in the town square was dirty, with tired and worn-out furniture, rude staff - just unpleasant.
Luckily Saffron Walden has a wealth of independent Coffee shops and cafes which deserve your custom and are a credit to this beautiful historic town- DO VISIT but give Costa Coffee a miss.
