The most amazing and beautiful bridal shop. The staff are so helpful, they are very knowledgeable about their stock and if you describe what sort of dress you're interested in, they will bring out a selection. They also encourage you to try on dresses that you might not have considered to make sure you make the right choice for you

I had a wonderful experience at Fleur de Lys Bridal! I was the only bride in the store and all three women working that day were so invested in helping me find the perfect dress. I felt like they really listened to what I liked and didnt like with each pick and they ultimately found the dress that had it all! They also did a good job having me try different silhouettes with the same features I liked so I could sample several styles and make sure I didnt rule anything out too early. There was no sales pressure at all; I felt completely relaxed, comfortable, and supported which was really important to me. The boutique itself is stunning and was nice and cool even though we were there on the hottest day of the year. Given this is only the second review posted since the change in ownership, I also wanted to specifically mention the personal attention and warmth I received from the new owner, who was really involved in the selection process and had some great ideas about styling the dress as well. I cannot recommend Fleur de Lys highly enough.

I chose my dress in August 2020 and it arrived in store December 2020. Upon its arrival, I attended to try the dress on just before Christmas. Up until this point, everything was going smoothly and I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and care from the staff. Around early July of 2021, I contacted the shop to arrange an appointment to try on my dress with the shoes that I had purchased for the wedding. The lady who took the call, booked the appointment in and had no issues with facilitating this appointment. I attended the appointment on the correct date at the said time and unfortunately, the shop was shut and unmanned. I called the number advertised on the website a few times and had no luck with getting hold of anyone. After a few minutes had past, a lady who worked in the local Cafe came and informed me that the business had recently sold and had changed hands within the week of me arranging my appointment. After the lady in the Cafe eventually got hold of the previous owner who was in Greece, I was then informed that the new owners should have contacted me to rearrange the appointment and there wasn't anything the previous owner could do - which is completely understandable as it was no longer her business. I found the shop on Facebook and messaged them to ask why I wasn't informed that my appointment had been cancelled, for them to come back to me and tell me to check my junk and call the shop on Monday to rearrange. At this point, an apology wouldn't have gone a miss!! After checking my junk inbox, there was an email from them 48hrs prior to the appointment which I had obviously not seen, so when I asked them why they didn't call me when I hadn't responded to the email to check that I was aware of the cancellation, I was told that an email was enough at this stage. After feeling very unhappy and concerned about the situation, I contacted the new owner later that week to rearrange the appointment. We had agreed to do a 5:30pm appointment on a Thursday evening as I had work commitments, however, around a week later she called me and told me she wasn't prepared to do an evening appointment and was told if I wanted to try the dress on I will need to start the alterations process as they weren't allowing brides to come and try on their dresses 'hay willy nilly'. I'm not getting married until mid 2022, so now isn't the time to be altering my dress. At this stage of the process, I had purchased the dress in full and paid for storage! When trying to reason with the owner about booking an appointment to attend (hopefully 3rd time lucky), I was told that the contract with the previous owner no longer stands, which I was completely shocked about. When I became distressed on the phone, the owner laughed at me and said 'it's not like you are getting married tomorrow' - unacceptable customer service! In the end, I said that I will attend to collect my dress as I was really upset with the service that had been provided. When I met the owner in person, she wasn't very welcoming and it was as if my appointment was too much trouble for her. She looked surprised that I had an appointment and made a rude remark as I took along 2 family members. Upon collecting my dress, I asked the owner if I could try it on and she questioned me as to why I wanted to do this as I had already bought the dress. She finally let me try on my dress after great hesitation and offered no support with this. After trying on my dress (which I was still satisfied with), we discussed the fact that I had paid for storage at the bridal shop. The owner then confirmed she would return 37.50 to me, which I was grateful for. As I was leaving, I provided her with feedback from my experience, and she didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was upset with the whole experience and not once apologise. I was made to feel humiliated and uncared for - two things a bride should never have to feel. So, all in all, the experience was great to begin with, with the previous owner and staff, however, the new owner had very little respect and time for her clients.
