So close to Uppermill centre and yet peacefully tucked away within walking distance of the town centre. Cliff (the owner) has thought of everything to provide a perfect base from which to explore and the cottage exudes a warm welcome from the outset. I loved the wood burning stove in the lounge. Even bottles of wine with an honesty box should you not bring your own. The latest coffee maker and large retro fridge. The bonus of the cottage garden on a sunny day is a delight . Although visiting an elderly friend, I particularly enjoyed walking the canal paths along the Huddersfield canal and such a wide choice of fun eating places and unique little shops in Uppermill so full of character. What not to like enjoying breakfast outside on a summer day overlooking the canal and a cosy cottage to return to each day. My thanks and appreciation to Cliff the owner for a great stay. I look forward to returning.
