An outstanding school with an excellent headmistress leading a 1st class teaching team! My children go to this school and what a lovely bright vibrant happy place for a child to learn and develop in their foundation stages of life! Making the juniors part of the infants and creating a new 'rainbow of opportunity' was the best thing to of happened for the children who went from the infants up to the juniors as this exceptionally high level of education will continue until the children leave in year 6 giving them the best possible start into young adulthood!!!! This was under the former head teacher Miss Farnaby. However now under the IEB and LEA (caroline o'neil) who promised and agreed to keep the school as it was yet back stabbed and lied and did the opposite. The school is now drab colourless and has lost that happy warm welcoming feeling. Now an average run of the mill primary school. Some good members of staff but some attitudes have changed... not the same school as when mine started. Respect to Miss Farnaby you ran the place exceptionally well 5 star under your rein. 0 stars now but had to give 1 to post.. there are better schools!!! Now the NELT have taken over its more like a HMP than an academy
