Very poor experience. They were extremely rude about other funeral directors. When asked for advice regarding benefits available they stated no point applying as so low. No knowledge or advice . Willing to take money but extremely poor. Went with Alderson of Ushaw Moor . Completely different, extremely knowledgeable and empathetic. Very professional.

Very compassionate, professional & caring. I dont know how I would of gotten through this tough time without having them. They proved to be the rock that we needed . Providing everything, my Mam wasnt a religious lady so they even suggested a lady who spoke, celebrating her life, heartbreaking but amazing! A+ on every front

when my sister Joan passed away I was devastated I wanted her funeral to be special and personal. I didnt know where to start but Stephanie Lyons was a god send to me she went out of her way to do everything I asked for and more. She didnt have to do the little personal things she did but nothing was too much trouble for her she put my mind at ease and give my sister the send off she deserved Im glad Ive got a opportunity to say thank you Stephanie Ill be forever great full for what you did i cant stress enough how would recommend Durham Funeral Service Ltd to any one Valerie Kirkup
