Pricey .. but well worth it .. Not only was the food absolutely perfect and truly delicious but the staff were incredibly nice, efficient & attentive too, all in all a perfect meal .. would absolutely return without hesitation on our next trip to York area

Stunning food, exceptional staff, really pleasant dinner for a night out without the kids, the portions are real not some Michelin dream of a portion, and we both left absolutely stuffed. Even thinking about taking the kids back for a lighter dinner on a Wednesday or Thursday to take advantage of the deals, just because the food was so good.

The best steak we've ever had!! 4 of us went for a couples night on saturday it didn't disappoint. Price is more expensive than other places but steaks are huge ! Portions are massive. We loved it! Already planning our next trip. Thank you everyone

Fillet steak, medium rare, very very tender and lean, as it should be, cooked perfectly! You can't get better than this, not in America, not anywhere else. 50 years ago I came here and the steaks were amazing. I can't believe that they still are! Same family business. These steaks are nothing short of superb and the booking, welcome, and attention is just as good. What a treat. This is a JEN 100 out of 10!! What else can I say but I will be going again and I will be really looking forward to it.
