Although, due to the burden of work at the time, there was some delay in actually starting, we were very impressed with the standard and thoroughness of the work Stamford Roofing carried out on our roof. We have a big old house and there were several problems causing leaks some of which were due to bad workmanship in the past including lack of allowance for the channelling of rainwater down the edge of the roof by previous roofers in one area and inadequate attachment of the guttering to the walls of the house when gutters replaced in another. Each problem was dealt with methodically with constant reference back to us for any feedback. Where there was poor pointing of the stone wall, not strictly a problem with the roof, this was also made good. We are very pleased with the job Stamford Roofing have done. I have to agree with the other reviews. Called for a quote to install a velux - left a message on answering machine - no response. So I then left a message through their website. I received an response and we confirmed a date. Guy came, said we'd get a quote but quote never came. Chased but get no response whatsoever. Maybe they are so busy that they don't need my business. But at least have the common decency to inform me and respond to messages. How can anyone trust a company that treats their propsective customers so badly? Not impressed and certainly won't use them nor recommend them. I have a response below but no explanation as to why I never received the quote. Sorry - my rating remains.

Great service provided by Stamford Roofing. I was able to get a quote within no time at all and the work booked in. Considering the current climate and it being over the holiday period - Stamford Roofing managed to get the scaffolding up and work completed promptly. I received excellent communication throughout, a highly competitive quote and an outstanding service. Special mention to Craig who made the whole process stress-free and informative.
