Darren has been coming to my gardens for three and a half years now, and I can honestly say I have always been impressed with all the work Darren carries out in a day. He will use his own initiative and carries out every aspect of work from mowing the grass, hedge and tree trimming, digging, planting, pruning shrubs and trees etc. I have enjoyed times with Darren redesigning parts of the garden whereby he has come up with great ideas. I wasnt going to write a review, but that would be selfish of me wanting to keep him to myself as he looks after my garden so well. Well done Darren!

We have had other gardeners in the past, but none of them has ever come up to the high standards of Stamford Gardening Company. We have a large, difficult garden which needs all sorts of gardening work on a regular basis: lawn care, hedging, strimming, tree management, tidying edges, hard landscaping, as well as weeding and pruning, planting and soil preparation. In all these areas Darren works speedily but thoroughly, and unlike many gardeners he has real horticultural expertise. He knows a plant from a weed! We have adopted many of his good ideas which have improved the garden enormously. It always looks impeccably tidy after his visits, and we know we can rely on him to do a good job when we are not at home. He is honest and reliable, and we recommend him unreservedly.

Never came round to give a quote and then never replied to emails asking if they still wanted the job. Very rude. Got someone else to trim my ivy in the end after waiting.
