Rye Dental Surgery

After waiting two years for an appointment I arrived five minutes early I listened to the dentist discussing teeth whitening with the patient for the next twenty minutes When the patient finally departed the receptionist politely informed the dentist I had another appointment and was in a desperate hurry He and his nurse then chose to continue discussing the obviously lucrative teeth whitening for another five minutes at which point I had to leave I have been at this surgery for twenty years plus and i am furious with the total lack of regard for my time

It's difficult to review as Mr Mehta I find to be a very good and approachable dentist. He explains everything etc. The other partner, I forget his name, doesn't speak to you about what is happening, advice etc. There is a particularly obnoxious receptionist, that tries to make people feel uncomfortable about being an NHS patient. Now I have been an NHS and private patient at other dental surgeries and never been treated unequal. I find her superior tone somewhat laughable, but also quite frustrating. There are other approachable receptionists there, but in her outspoken opinion, when they give you a service, they must be wrong. Very dissapointing and doesn't encourage me to become private.

Always treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. My treatment was explained clearly, and I was given a treatment plan, so I knew exactly what the cost of my treatment was going to be.I would highly recommend.

I was happy with the overall experience. I have visited many dental surgeries over the years and even after just one visit Dr Gaurav Mehta and lovely Nadia Reynodsis are on top of my list. Great practice, service and staff. Definitely recommend.
