        Bought a Mason Pearson hairbrush from Gibbs and Gurnell today. They are, in my opinion, quite expensive but a top quality product and worth every penny. The last one I owned lasted for decades. I was sad to hear, from the very helpful shop assistant, that the only shop on the Isle of Wight to sell them may not continue to stock them in the future. I made a special journey from the south side of the Island rather than buy online to support local businesses.
