The Old Boat House

The problem about leaving this review is everyone is going to want to come and stay here and we will miss out! What an amazing house. Perfectly positioned between the village and Seagove Bay.There is nothing better than hearing the waves crashing in as you lie in bed. Very clean and well looked after. There is loads of space for the two families. The outhouse was ideal for children to decant to. Great out door eating etc. Whilst we were there in the height of summer the house also looked perfect for winter breaks. Long wet windy walks into Priory etc. Thank you so much for a great holiday. Hoping we can return year after year!

Our family spent a week here in May, using both the main house and the annexe. Setting aside extensive civil engineering work next door that should end before summer 2022 gets going in earnest, we had a great stay. Lots of beds, decent kitchen, massive outdoor table on its own patio hidden from the dog-walkers, there's lots to recommend it. It was also affordable versus other (sometimes more modern) properties, especially so given the sea front view populated with tall ships, sea forts, and more. Niggly things like the dishwasher door flopping open and remotely-controlled heating don't stop me recommending this. We will return with pleasure. Tessa, who runs it, is very on it when it comes to communications and engagement. A pleasure to deal with.
