This is a wonderful village Primary School, we moved to Ruyton XI Towns, a year ago and feel very privileged to have found such an amazing school! We were all welcomed from the moment our children joined (2 children), it was a mid-year move and St John the Baptist made our childrens transition so smooth. They were welcoming and very flexible for visits to the school before we moved, very informative and the school has such a lovely atmosphere when in operation. All the Staff are wonderful and dedicated along with a great team of hardworking Governors, in providing a completely well rounded education both in and outside of the classroom. There are fabulous facilities and they offer so many wonderful sporting and musical opportunities, as well as after school club activities. As a working parent having breakfast clubs and after school care is so helpful too! Class sizes are smaller and children are valued individually, not merely numbers. Everyone is caring and our children have formed great connections with their wonderful teachers and feel very settled, happy and safe!! St Johns is like one big extended family! The good values our children are learning from such a lovely school environment, will be the foundation for many years to come ! Thank you to all at St John the Baptist!!! Id give more stars if I could and thoroughly recommend this school!

This beautiful rural primary school is the heart of our village, we moved here 2 years ago, and quickly realised we needed our Daughter to attend! She was welcomed to the school by all and quickly settled her learning made leaps, she now enjoys a full curriculum of sport, music, art and the core subjects! The staff here are wonderful and really care, as do the governors. This school really is the crown Jewell of Ruyton xi Towns and it's surrounding villages.
