Boots Opticians

Needed an appointment quick as I've been experiencing headaches. Got a last minute appointment and rushed over. From the start the service was brilliant. The optician was incredibly friendly and confident and listened to what I said and she was very quick and thorough. The lady who helped me pick out my glasses, Donna, was amazing. She was friendly and made me feel at ease. I even purchased a pair of sunglasses (half price) with UV filter as she is such a brilliant sales person. I was worried about whether I could try on frames given the COVID situation but she told me to try on as many as I wanted and gave me a box to put them in and hand back to her to be sanitised. They have adapted well to the guidelines and the store was very clean and they were cautious about contact, but not to the point where you felt like you were in a prison regime having to follow rules dictated at you. Definitely recommend this store. Thank you for your help today.

My elderly mother had her eyes tested here 2 years ago where the optician found she had grade 2 cataracts. He didn't refer her there and then (given the NHS waiting list) but said he had his done privately! After seeing the optician at Boots Worthing October 2020 she was told they were so bad she should have been referred earlier. We have just had one done as an emergency at Southlands Hospital. Not impressed with the level of service at Rustington.
