Westcourt Medical Centre

I did an e consult today to get a referral to hospital. This was something I was told should be easy by the Audiology dept of Worthing Hospital. I was contacted by a member of the Urgent Care team and told that I wouldn't be able to have a referral without first seeing my GP. So I phoned up and was given the first available appointment..... which is in 7 weeks time! 7 weeks! That is absolute insanity. And of course the ultimate kick is that it was the "urgent care" team that said I needed the appointment. Whilst I appreciate this isn't directly the surgery's fault as they probably have 20 times the number of patients that they were originally set up for, it doesn't change the fact that this is an absolute joke. I've never had a good experience here but this has been by far the worst one to date. Clearly they need to take on a LOT more staff. Nobody should ever have to wait 7 weeks for a doctor's appointment.

I have waited over a month for an appointment here. Finally arrived on time and tried checking in using their system and it couldnt pick me up. The person in front of me took their time being served. I finally got to the front and I was turned away for being 15 minutes late!!! I have to now re-book another appointment. This is just totally unfair

Some years back, I have previously left a bad review owing to major issues at Westcourt, however I feel it important to update this since clearly services have improved tremendously and they have worked hard to implement changes. Thank you to the excellent team at Westcourt.

The answer machine is tedious ..previously, a human being was on the end of the telephone. It is now necessary to listen to an extended diatribe , non of which is necessarily relevant.
