Just an MOT for my motorhome this time but I have had other work done previously and all to excellent standard and reasonable price. Lovely helpful people and a lovely location, much nicer than most garages!

I was having problems with my Skoda Superb Estate which initially showed up as a parking break error message locked my car up and told me to take it to a garage, this I did and they released the parking brake switch witch allowed me to drive the car. I looked up the problems up in youtube to find that there were lots of electrical problems associated with the dsg gearbox I had and its management system I tried lots of places to find a solution and was quoted various solutions from minor switch replacement to new gearbox + management system but no guarantee that this would resolve my problem. At this point in time the final straw accured I was driving down the M25 and joining the M23 when I lost all my gears luckily I managed to pull across the traffic and find a rescue place to pull into I managed to restart the car get it in gear and carefully drive home then went on the internet and asked for anyone that had experience with the DSG gearbox I had CCM came up I contacted them explained my problems. They told me that there were many problems that could have happened and that the first thing they would have to do was put it on there diagnostic computer which contained the cars manufacturers diagnostic software this would cost 180 per hour and they estimated that 1-2 hours might be needed at the same time they would look at the associated wiring. They loaned me a car at no cost other than replacing the petrol as the time needed to get the parts and carry out the repair could be up to two weeks, they would keep me informed of the solution and the approximate cost. I was informed that there was a problem with the gearbox management module and the associated wiring loom and they needed replacing. I agreed to have this carried out and was quoted 1400 for this work, I also asked to have my tracking done as they have a 4 wheel tracking facility. They phoned me on the day I was to collect the car to say the had completed the work but needed to test drive the car on the motorway for about 30 miles to make sure that it was performing as it should but had run out of time and would contact me the following day, which they did to confirm that the car was completely repaired and ready to collect. Upon collection I was presented a bill for 1250 including tracking and vat. I would thoroughly reccomend CCM to anyone for there professional approach to all the work they carried out, the information they gave me regarding all they were doing and I will be using them again, I have been using the car for several weeks and it is performing like new part of this I am sure is the reprogramming that took place.
