Guitar Lessons With Simon

I started lessons with Simon a few months ago, not as a complete beginner but wanting to move forward with my playing. I've found Simon encouraging and patient, helping with music choice and adapting pieces as necessary. I really enjoy my lessons, I often feel challenged but also enthused to get it right! I would definitely recommend Simon as a great guitar tutor.

Simon has been teaching our son ( aged 8) for nine months. Simon is so patient in the lessons, picks great tunes to learn , and is very encouraging. No hestitation in recommending.

Simon is an incredibly patient teacher who explains things in a way I can understand and helps me work that into my playing. He also helps by reworking songs that I am not experienced enough to play as they were written, but his take on these enable me to tackle them as many are songs I love so I can't recommend him highly enough. The studio is a great place that really has a creative feel and Simon's ability to discuss all things guitar and his knowledge has been invaluable with among other things setting up my pedal board.

I enjoy my guitar lessons with Simon, they're a lot of fun and he's versatile in style - we've played a lot of very different songs over the years and he's always encouraging and positive. He's knowledgeable about the gear as well and talked me through amps and upgrading my guitar when I fancied a change. I like his approach and feel like I get a lot out of our lessons. I totally recommend him.

Katie has taken Guitar lessons with Simon for 3 years or more. She started when she was about 15 with no guitar knowledge at all and Simon began at just the right level. The music she learnt was based around music she listened to and right from the start she could play pop music. She moved quickly through some great pieces and has now got a great repertoire to keep her busy. I have been very impressed and thank Simon so much. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a passionate, professional guitar teacher who will adapt to the learning pace of the student and will encourage them to do their best.
