Usually have a good experience in this store but at around 5.20pm yesterday 20/4 we were ready to pay for shopping and notice saying we are opening til 3 came on. We unloaded a trolley full of shopping with 3 other customers. Then another message went out colleague to til 3, still waiting and queues getting longer and another message went out. Then a message saying we are closing til 3 cans up. Customers wondering what went wrong, another message we are opening til 3 another 2 messages saying we are opening til 3, another we are closing til three, a message stating manager to tills. No one came - it took a young guy already working hard to get up of his till and go out back to fetch the manager. When the manager arrives at our til he made no apology. Served 3 customers. Then during serving us a female colleague came from out the back - stops the manager from serving us to ask if he wants her on the til. He says yes. Instead of going on the til she then starts to tell him what dinner she has put out and asks how he has his tea. We are stood there waiting for the rest of our shopping to be scammed while they chat, I said excuse me he is serving us at the moment. The lady said oh sorry and carried on talking! The manager ignored her said nothing but did finish scanning out shopping. He did not even acknowledge I had spoken, and definitely didnt apologise as he should. Maybe some customer service training and management training is required? Or we can just go to a store where custom is valued

Nice place, no ANPR (unlike Aldi Blaby! Parking fines there if your not careful). Plenty of choice on a budget.
