They couldn't careless about UPS and basically told me to F off UPDATE: I received a message after this reply from what seemed to be UPS asking me to go out of my way to resolve this via PM or DM. I'll reply here instead. This was the second UPS drop off point I tried to return an Amazon product. The first (Dunfield 19, London SE6 3RW) was at least able to get thing packed) however, the shop keeper tried to authorise the return but the mobile network was down. A small conversation later informed me that the this had happened before. The message read something like 'the network is down, please contact this number'. At this point, the shop owner told me to come back later. This was curious as the message had explicitly told the shop keeper to call a number. The second place laughed at me and told me that UPS is irrelevant and they make most of their money from crisps and sweets! LOL SAFE! It's COOL. If you don't want to pick up my package. Safe. I cancelled the return and used myhermes and they sorted it, nay worry. (literally can't believe I'm saying myhermes is better than anyone else) Morel of the story. Just accept that returning an item online is tenuous at best. UPS can suck dry broccoli. Neither of their pickup points couldn't care less about accepting my item, I feel this is a problem with UPS rather than the depository.
