R P Removals

I wouldn't use this company if I was you!!! DON'T USE THEM THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! I trusted their reviews but now I believe majority of them must be fake. I used this company back in May, when I initially called for a quote I was given a quote for 4hours to be told that I can book whatever time suits me. I asked if all my bulk items could be wrapped as I was moving to a place where renovation work will be taking place and i didn't want my furniture etc damaged. I was told that this is no issue. Once I'd paid my deposit and called back to book a time I was told that they only do 2 time slots. One in the morning from 09:00 till 12:00 and the other was 14:00 till 18:00. At this point I really didn't know what go do as I'd paid a deposit and couldn't go elsewhere. I was advised by them that from their past experience completion normally has happened by 11:00 so an hour will be enough time for them to unload. So I went with the morning time. When the crew arrived on the day at first they weren't willing to wrap everything. Eventually after some persuasion they agreed to wrap it all. I didn't actually get my keys to my place until after 3pm which meant that I already owed them for more hours. When unloading the vehicle I told them to put everything in 2 bedrooms and kitchen stuff in the kitchen and said that i have some boxes labelled for the garage. I couldn't watch the guys as i was on the phone to EON due to having no electricity. My food boxes were put at the back of the room with the bulky items at the front so I couldn't get to these. The garage boxes were also all put upstairs in between other boxes. Most IMPORTANTLY when taking my mattress up the stairs they tried to fold/bend this into half fully but I luckily noticed and stopped them, even so i was a little too late as they managed to break some springs. This was a SEALY mattress worth 700. When I told the crew this they looked at me in disbelief. I'm not being funny but they obviously had never spent this kind of money on a mattress. When I tried to contact them to raise a complaint I got nowhere with them. No empathy in any way. They asked for pics off the mattress to be sent which the damage can only be noticed if felt. You wouldn't see this in a pic. Regarding the room I didn't think to take pics but moved everything by the time they asked for the pics of this room. I ended up paying an extra 400 than budgeted for so I wouldn't ever recommend this company. It probably wouldn't have mattered so much to me if it wasn't for my mattress.

Excellent service throughout with nothing too much trouble. On the day of moving the guys arrived on time and were courteous and professional throughout the loading process. When we arrived at the new address there was a delay in getting keys but again the guys were very patient and understanding, when they did unload it was again done in a courteous and professional manner. I would highly recommend RP removals and the team they sent were first class

I moved from Milton Keynes to Liverpool and was impressed by the quote I received and the professionalism of the people I spoke to. Im sure everyone contemplating a move like this will have sleepless night worrying that something might go wrong. Even if it does then with RP removals you dont need to worry as nothing phases them and the whole thing was done with unbelievable professionalism. Please use this company and relax.
