    No customer care and shoddy materials. We have a five years old Glasshouse and were initially delighted with Prestige's customer focused design and the home itself. However, we've discovered that they use substandard materials, some aspects of workmanship are shoddy and they show no interest in explaining or rectifying issues once the warranty period has passed. We have now had five double glazed units "blow' (internal damp that necessitates their replacement) and they're just not interested. In other properties I've not known one to ever blow let alone five, let alone within five years. We've also found aspects of installation that are faulty (incorrect spacing of panels, use of the wrong sealant) and again, they just say 'out of warranty'. I fully accept that warranty is for a limited period, but good firms show some interest in their product and engage with past customers. Not Prestige. Despite loving the design of the lodge I just couldn't recommend for their substandard materials and lack of responsiveness or accountability. For info the lodge was purchased through West Dorset Leisure Holidays and despite their extensive corporate relationship with Prestige they still get an 'out of warranty, not interested' response.

    Purchased a houseboat from Waterlodge and the boat turned out to be made by Prestige. The aftersales service has been awful from this company. I purchased the boat in January 2022 and I am still waiting for numerous faults to be fixed a year on, many with no attempt to solve! I had an issue with a blind in the boat, they came back to me after seven months to say they couldn't replace so would have to replace all of them. Three months later they turned up with 8 blinds instead of 9. Four months on I am still waiting.... Numerous issues with rusting that again have never been resolved. I would seriously consider if you wish to purchase or not, as they are quick to take your money but very slow to solve any issues.

My lodge was 6 months late and to my absolute dismay it arrived with massive holes in the floor under the lodge, all the carpets were ripped, the toilet was so close to the bathroom basin u felt like u was sitting in it. The.Curtains were too long as in dragging over 13 onto the floor. The curtain rails were completely uneven, the internal doors do not fit the frames. I could go on and on and on. When it came to the aftersales it was just as disturbing. They took almost a year to put their bad workmanship right. My front door was left so long it wouldnt close at all and I actually injured my shoulder lifting it up to close it. They came to fill the settlement cracks after 6 months but refused to come back to fill in anymore that appeared even though their own policy is to fill these settlement cracks after one year. Obviously after only 6 months more appeared but I was told no. I would never have bought my lodge from them if I knew then what I know now. and I would warn anyone that was about to. Stay away, there are many more companies out there that would do a much better job and even care about u after theyve taken your money! Im sorry I just need to add that u seem to have forgotten to mention in your reply that I couldnt move into my lodge until august because of the holes in my lodge that my park fixed or the fact that I contacted u in July AGAIN on the 28th about the settlement cracks. As people can see in your response u have dismissed all the other problems my lodge had on arrival. I hope my review helps others
