What can I say about Gordon Smith Guitars? They produce, in Britain, incredibly good, handmade guitars. The neck feels fantastic in your hand, they play absolutely brilliantly, they sound particularly good and most of them look amazing. You can literally ask for anything you want and they'll try and accommodate each and every wish. I can't think of what they can't do for you guitar wise. Defy the laws of Physics? Maybe not, but why not get in touch yourself to find out? Are they perfect, from stock? Almost. In my opinion, by upgrading the machine heads, they are perfect. Can you say something similar about any other guitar manufacturer? Yes, and No. Would putting better quality machine heads on any other guitar make a difference, Absolutely, yes. Would they then be perfect? No! They have now started an export range of guitars with using premium hardware. These would definitely by supplied with the best machine heads money can buy, and no surprise they cost more than the standards, but they're still not priced at more than a small car, unlike some brands that I can think of, do.
