JMK Renovations LTD

I have come across JMK Renovations via Wickes upon redoing my 2 bathrooms. Chris and his team have done smashing job keeping it on very high standard, communication between me and them was second to none, but all that was nearly 1.5 year ago since then I have contracts JMK Renovations to do multiple various jobs (small and big) always with the same spectacular result. In response to Anne Shannon 1 star review I have to say that in that trade it could be very challenging to keep up all the customers happy, but slamming JMK Renovations for something they have not promised and giving 1 star review for something they not even done its shambolic! Shame on you Anne Yes, Chris may not always answer the phone but there is a reason for it, he is working on another cracking job paying full attention to all the details and with his team they can create spectacular results. They will always follow guidelines and manufacturers manuals to complete every project, they will always communicate with you in regards even the smallest thing while on the job so you can be the one how makes decision, they will not assume things themselves. Just see results of their work in attached photos. Please book in advance at least 6 7 months to be completely satisfied and they will honour that date and work will start as planned. Some of the work may be impacted by weather so take that in consideration as well Thank you for great work guys and will see you on another challenge.

Kris and his team came to my house to renovate two of my bathrooms. From start to finish the communication was excellent and the results were fantastic. Very happy how it all turned out and I couldn't recommend more :)

As Chris was recommended to me by someone he worked for years ago I called him to discuss installing a new kitchen in my property. He seemed sympathetic and understanding of the reasons I gave him as to why the work was urgent and I felt reassured when he gave me a time the very next evening for when he would come and look at the kitchen and give me a quote. However, he didn't show up and didn't get in touch with me. I was worried that maybe he had had an accident or something else had happened and tried phoning him but he didn't answer. I left a voicemail and also texted and emailed him but there was no response. This was over two weeks ago and I have still heard nothing from this person. However, in this time I have seen that he has been on whatsapp so obviously he has been perfectly capable of getting in touch with me. He has also in the past fortnight told someone I know that he cannot take on any more work at this time. Fine, but why couldn't he have told me this? Why make an appointment and then not keep it? Why not take a minute of his time to do the decent thing and cancel the appointment if he'd changed his mind? I find it very difficult to understand how a grown man with a business to run can behave in such a discourteous, pathetic and unprofessional manner. I was warned that this person isn't always good at answering phone calls or returning calls but I didn't expect to be treated like this. I'm just so glad and relieved he didn't take on the work and then show me how very unreliable he is!
