Unfortunately I had a bad experience of this place. I was on the hunt for a folding walking stick and a mobility aid for my 87 year Mother who has dementia and requires mobility support. The shop was open as there was an elderly lady sitting inside with another elderly person but the front door was locked. I knocked on the glass door and one of the elderly ladies came over and very abruptly asked me what I wanted. I explained what I was looking for and she refused to let me and my Mum into the shop but brought the folding stick over to me at the door which I bought. She didn't even have the courtesy to explain to me how the folding walking stick operated. I also wanted to look into buying another mobility aid for my Mum and asked if I could come into the shop to have a look but was refused point blank. I asked her what was the reason for not allowing me into the shop. She said she has vulnerable customers in the shop. She didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was with a vulnerable customer myself. Anyhow, what does having vulnerable customers in the shop have to do with not allowing customer who want to buy things otherwise don't have items for sale in the shop. If this shop has policy of not allowing customers to enter the shop then this must be made public on the shop window. I won't be visiting this place any time soon. There are plenty of other more friendly places I can go to. Not my loss.
