Stayed here for one night. Staff on the door were friendly and the hotel is well situated, being right in the centre of the town of Rugeley. The room was large and comfortable. It was also very clean and I had a good nights sleep. It cost around 57 for the night which is very reasonable for a basic hotel. They offer a prepackaged breakfast, which I didnt take up, delivered to your room as there are no food facilities on site. There is a Burger King in the car park though and the town centre has plenty of eating options too.

We had two rooms, one okay and one dreadful. The person in the dreadful room, had about one hour of sleep due to the noises created by other guests. Who were using facilities relatively normally but noise and movement was generated that caused a full night of disturbed sleep. The okay room was quiet but had stained carpets and broken soap dispensers. Onsite staff on arrival welcoming..since call centre booking agent had been useless..she was helpful and sorted out the issue. Staff were too busy having an in depth chat probably about the behaviour of some of the guests overnight to acknowledge receipt of the key or our party leaving. The lack of sleep, meant the loss of enjoyment of the day sadly for that relative...this person can usually sleep anywhere...There would have been no point in asking staff for help since the noise was generated by relatively normal actions. The room should be a staff room to give them a break from the tiny cramped reception desk... Nearby activities: Feet away from a Burger King...and their clients
