I highly recommend Kumon Rugby. We have been very impressed with the excellent support and flexibility provided by Pam. My daughter's confidence in Maths continues to grow and her grades at school have definitely improved. A very professional service and good value for your money!

Two of my three children attended the Kumon centre quite a few years back, the experience was good but not satisfying enough to continue. For my youngest (third child) I though to try again as management had changed and I am happy to say I have not looked back since. Pam has made my youngest feel comfortable, confident and excel. I cannot praise Pam enough , she is kind, caring, considerate and always accommodates. Over the pandemic she genuinely has been amazing, online zoom classes , one to one classes and always willing to stay longer Online until my daughter has fully understood. Thank you Pam we appreciate your hard work xx

We started our children at Kumon Rugby around 9 months ago. In that time their Maths and English has come on hugely and we have noticed a big difference in their ability at school - their teachers have noticed as well. The star of the show is Pam of course, she is focused on providing the best plan for the children to ensure they progress every day, including a plan for the summer holiday as well so that the children are far more prepared for the new school year in the Autumn. I'd recommend Kumon to other parents in a heartbeat.

The Kumon Programme was paramount to my successes throughout my education. As a completer of both the Maths and English programmes, I found the content - especially maths - extremely beneficial in providing the foundations, which is then slowly built up to a very complex level. Although people say the programmes are repetitive, the approach of 'practice makes perfect' has proven to be an extremely successful method. From timing their own work, to resolving questions on their own, the programme teaches children self-motivation and self-discipline, which are fundamental skills required for future success. Only 10-15 mins of work a day provides a routine for the child as well as a constant learning path. Furthermore before progressing to a more advanced level, a mini 'end of level' test is given, just to ensure the child's speed and accuracy is sufficient. Not only are these mini-tests beneficial on the academic side, they also prepare children for the idea of exams at a later age. These mini-tests give children the feeling of success when passing, but also the disappointment if he/she fails. Failing a Kumon test is only a minor set-back, as with more practice and perseverance the test can be taken again; however this may not be the case when obtaining qualifications. When important exams or tests arise outside of Kumon, the children are already experienced, so are able to acknowledge the link between working hard and success. Many children complain about doing additional work outside of school, regardless of the type of tuition and Kumon is no different. However Kumon stands out and is very different as it provides much more than just help in maths and english. With the continued vital support and motivation from parents as well, from personal experience the benefits of Kumon are outstanding.
