I remember that some years back, I had come across a seller in the UK (I think on eBay) who offered personalised engraving services for a reasonable price. When I tried to search through my previous orders, I could not find the shop which I had purchased from. However after a lot of searching on the internet, I came across Mel's shop and I'm glad I did. The prices seemed really reasonable for something personalised and unique. I found it really easy to navigate and there was a good selection of fonts to choose from. I thought how cool it would be to have my initials in Old English font, but could not see this in the drop-down menu. So I sent Mel an email, asking if he'd be able to do this and he was happy to accommodate my request. He said about how the border could be taken away from the stamp, in order to make the letters bigger and the engravings deeper, so as to make a better impression in the sealing wax. There was also a choice of pouches to choose from, which I thought was really cool (I decided to go for a brown burlap pouch, as it reminds me of the pouches people in the Middle Ages would have on their waists, filled with coins etc.) It was nice being able to choose a delivery option as well, depending on whether I wanted the item to be delivered sooner etc. I opted to go for the Royal Mail 1st Class, which was estimated between 2-4 days. I received the wax seal stamp a few days after making the purchase (bought the stamp on the 23rd of August and received it on the 26th, so super quick!) Upon opening the contents, which were packaged well, I was really pleased with the presentation of everything. In the brown burlap pouch was the wax seal stamp, along with a stick of wax which was a nice little addition. I was that happy with the service and Mel's work, that I ordered a smaller wax seal stamp today, with the same initials for my smaller envelopes! If you're looking for a personalised, unique wax seal stamp then I'd highly recommend Mel and his shop! Many thanks to you Mel! :)
