A big thank you to the team at Oak Country Buildings for delivering excellent results for us in the project completed in May 2022. The work undertaken was in two parts; a Cotswolds Oak Frame Sunroom, and significant renovation to the ground floor of our house to provide alternative spaces for kitchen, utility and family room/study. Adam gave us excellent professional advice in the initial design, including the most suitable dimensions of the sunroom and the design and layout for the new spaces. We appreciate how well Adam tuned in to what we were looking for and helped us find the best options for achieving our goals. Once on site we were very pleased with the quality of the workmanship throughout. The skills and attitudes of Mick and Aaron and Rob and Rich from Oak Country Group were excellent, as well as the can do attitude that they and Adam consistently brought to resolve the inevitable snags and problems that are bound to occur on a project of this kind. We were also pleased with the external contractors brought in by the company. Further thanks to Adam for the way in which he project managed the scheme. We had to vacate our home whilst the internal works were underway, so it was important that the communication was good. Once the work was underway Adam was very responsive and could be relied upon to make site visits at short notice where necessary even though we are located some distance outside the normal range for their operations. He was also very flexible in scheduling work to co-ordinate with contractors that we were employing separately. The project took place during a difficult time when some building materials were in short supply. We particularly appreciated Adams persistence in sourcing stone that was an exact match to the existing house, eventually finding this in a small local quarry. We are delighted with the overall result which we can honestly say has exceeded our expectations and transformed our home. We would have no hesitation in recommending Oak Country Buildings. I have been really pleased with Oak Country. They took an idea we had and brought it to life. Adam helped us to design a bespoke Oak porch with front door, top and sidelights, and even went the extra mile to introduce us to individualised ironmongery to make our entrance look amazing. The quality of their product is 10/10, which was hand made by their joinery shop. This made the installation really quick and easy. They product managed our job helping to organise carpenters, electricians and any trade that we needed. Tom and Rich were fantastic throughout the installation and their attention to detail was to the highest standard. Cant wait to see them for our next project!

This company has completed an amazing garden room to my house. Following the briefest of instructions, the team took down a very tired garden room and built an oak framed 5m x 5m room with exposed brick work, chunky A frame beams , tiled roof with detailed feature and steps to a sloping garden. All this was done whilst I kept my holiday business open and so the team had to maintain a very tidy work area. Nothing was too much trouble, brilliant electrician, builders who had to overcome tricky conditions and carpenters with great attention to detail. Great communication between office, Joe and site I have had so many compliments about the garden room from passers by as it is in keeping with my old house. On December 2nd 2019, we completed the purchase of our new home, in Rugby, from Oak Country Buildings. We were going to write a review for the developers several months ago but our good intentions came to nought, as other concerns absorbed our energy and spare time. With hindsight, we feel that writing a review so soon after moving in to a new house could have given the impression that the review was merely superficial. We have now lived in our new home for over 5 months, so we feel better qualified to give an honest appraisal. In a nutshell, WE ARE DELIGHTED!!! Obviously, we approved of the location, construction, size and layout before we purchased the house, but it is only in use that the quality of construction, fittings, appliances and furnishings becomes evident. Joe and Michelle (aka Oak Country Buildings) truly put their hearts and skills into every aspect of the project they built and furnished to a platinum standard the standard that they would expect, if building a home for themselves. Our experience of dealing with Oak Country Buildings POSITIVE! Of greatest importance is the fact that we trust Joe and Michelle. We believe them to be people of integrity. They have also been very helpful and accommodating throughout. They have gone beyond the call of duty and shown us great consideration when, as a result of our own folly, we damaged the kitchen decoration. Concerns or questions are swiftly attended to. Do we have any complaints or gripes or negative comments? NO! Anything outstanding? Well, perhaps one small thing has our hand-painted wall letterbox arrived yet Joe?
