Do NOT attend their assessment day. They are not recruiting as I passed all the assessments and still was unsuccessful without any feedback. They have 2 assessment days per month

Had 2 interviews in the place, after passing all of their assessments. Didn't get the job on either. Even though on the second interview they were looking for 3 people only and only 3/10 of us actually passed their assessments. The only reason given to me was that my answers to the interview questionnaire were to short. Now I'm straight to the point/ to the meat of things person. If asked a simple question like ''why health and safety is important'', which they did, ill give a quick and short but correct answer. Unfortunately, they expect some paragraph I should have memorized somewhere. I don't see how this is valuable in a manufacturing environment. The place only makes Fasteners, some mass produced and some custom orders. I don't get this elitist view they have there. Feels like people either had to buy into it or they weren't accepted. On the site tour, which I had 2 of, I noticed this rather unpleasant atmosphere. No smiling faces, no hello. People avoiding eye contact. Feels like a place run by Sociopaths. They get the job done and I'm sure they do a good job at it. But the place feels dead. I was attracted by the higher salary and location was right next door to where I live. But I wont waste any more time on them.
