Riverside Farm

We have been to riverside twice now it's absolutely amazing, greet location. The owners are so lovely and friendly, I would recommend this site to anyone

Recently stayed here, family are very welcoming and the site was so peaceful and relaxing. If you want a commercial site with a shop and loads of facilities this isnt the place for you. But if you want peace, quiet, nature on your doorstep, dark skies, friendly hosts and a riverside setting then this is the place for you. There are clean basic showers and toilets, along with fresh water. Dog friendly with great walks from the site and a short walk to the village for any supplies Highly recommend and we are already checking our diary to see when we can return.

Really nice cosy site, riverside pitches and facilities available. Right on the South Downs Link with plenty of walks to local pubs and The Firebird Brewery. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended site.

This is my absolute favourite campsite! If youre looking for somewhere close to nature, peaceful, laid back and with the most amazing hosts - then this is the place for you!! Ive been coming here for a few years, & Ill be honest, I tried to keep it quiet!! Theres a couple of pubs & shops within walking distance, fires are encouraged & theres the river for fishing, boating or swimming. ***** I cant recommend Riverside Farm highly enough - but shhhhh dont tell everyone! !

It was a complete marsh in the rainy weather. Your field is what it is and that fine but you need to know when it's feasible and if you need people to be on a hard standing don't take a booking that you can't accommodate on hard standing. Maybe just don't take non hard standing bookings for before the ground stabilises. If this had been unforeseeable I would understand, but it wasn't it's March and you knew that when taking the booking Having turned up this morning and been told that we weren't to drive into site as the owner didn't want it, and seen the state the site was in at 11 and 12 in the afternoon I was really surprised at the state of the place and the unfriendly nature that showed in comparison to your reviews. A scout group is no less of a customer than others, in fact you could have had 11 children asking to come back. You helpped get a stuck trailor off the field that was sodden after rising water had left soaked sleeping bags and children, for this you did as I would expect of a campsite owner. Making things harder for the leaders parents and the children by asking for everything to be taken up to your gates was unexpected. I was in fact just letting people know to be aware that water can be an issue and not rasing other issues but your rude reply and threatening to take it out on the group because I shared information means I feel the need to point these other issues out
