I initially contacted Pete at Finney Building Services, having seen some of their work online and reading positive reviews. I asked for a quote for repointing a property and to look at a leaking chimney. I got good vibes speaking with Pete so decided to follow my instincts and go with him, without getting further quotes. I didn't think I would get a more reasonable quote without sacrificing the expertise, and I wasn't disappointed. Pete was easy to deal with throughout, no pressure or hard sell, he just explains what is needed and backs it up with photos and videos. Pete and his team are very knowledgeable and they just cracked on with the job and it was completed to a high standard. This job could have been a real hassle for me as the property was empty and I wasn't present to oversee any of it. However, Pete's a reliable and trustworthy guy so all was good. He's a good communicator and dealt with the neighbours on my behalf. I was updated regularly and I would have no hesitation in recommending Pete and his team. Since that first job I have also had Pete's team back to re-roof the property, which speaks volumes about my opinion of them. It makes a pleasant change to be able to trust someone enough to just hand over the keys and know they will do a good job. Excellent service all round!!
