Albury Fires Ltd.

The ceramics and coals of our 13 year old gas fire practically disintegrated when the gas engineer called to service the fire. I contacted Albury and within 5 days had all the necessary parts delivered by Mike who spent time to give advice regarding re-assembly for when the gas engineer returned. I cannot fault the service given by both Diane and Mike and would recommend Albury to anyone. In a throw away age it's refreshing to find a company that supports its customers by backing up its products with excellent service and reasonably priced parts.

I was called to a Albury Fire that I had fitted perfectly before Christmas, the pilot light was previously fine but was reported by the customer to be 9 inches long. Upon arrival I dismantled the front cover and removed the pilot assembly. I contacted Albury fires and they are sending me a new pilot assembly free of charge. Brilliant service.

Purchased a Gas Fire from this company and had a problem with the chrome trim which had not been manufactured correctly as the measurements were different at the top and bottom subsequently causing the trim to run out and easily noticeable to the eye. I contacted Albury Fires Ltd to advise them of the problem and was advised that there was nothing they could do about it as that is the way they are manufactured. I stated that the trim was not square and true throwing the alignment of the fire out to the eye. I was then asked if I was an engineer?? Of which I am not but do have the skills of reading a basic tape measure. I requested a replacement trim of the correct dimensions to replace the faulty one and was subsequently advised there was nothing they could do about it and saying "I've got to go now" and hung up on me. I will now attempt to source a replacement trim from another supplier who hopefully offers better Customer care.

Excellent company to deal with. Ordered a replacement pilot ignition for our fire after speaking to a very helpful gentleman on the phone explain what was wrong with our fire. Received the part the following day and the fire is working perfectly again
