The Jockey

We heard a rumour that The Jockey was going to stop serving food and so had to make sure to try it before it did. Thankfully the rumour was unfounded and The Jockey will continue service for the forseeable future. As a family-run business, you can tell the meticulous care and attention applied to each dish. We had duck spring rolls, salt and pepper squid, deep fried seabass with chillies, and stir fry duck with cashew nuts, and we enjoyed every morsel. Everything was freshly prepared, the ingredients were high quality, and the environment was very pleasant. It is no wonder each table was occupied. Our favourite was the salt and pepper squid - you should definitely try it - and we will be coming back again.

Great experience, 2nd time there for a take out. Very welcoming and friendly, food was exceptional, will definitely be back very soon :)

We have been to the Jockey three times now and each time it has been excellent. The food is delicious and the staff are so lovely. I would heartily recommend.
