    Very good - did a complete gutting of a 1970s bathroom and installed a full senior-friendly shower room for my Mum. Fitters were very professional and friendly, considerate to the needs of an elderly client. Workmanship seems very good, was a wide range of products to choose from and very helpful advice throughout the process.

    The man from Royston bathrooms came to our house to measure up and chat about a bathroom and cloakroom refurbishment last summer. We received a quote (without choosing any materials) a week or so later. We then went to their showroom to chat a bit more about our requirements in November and agreed on the work to start early April. We were hoping to get some advice on choosing the materials and to finalise the quote in January. But several of our phone calls, emails and left messages (all answered) later we just gave up. Now, 3 working days before the work was supposed to start, we received a phone call from the man, asking if we're all set - materials still not chosen, quote still not finalised - I don't think these people understand or care about their customer needs! The man was annoyed with us for not letting him know that we gave up on them They wasted so much of our time, we could have had our bathrooms fitted by now!

    We waited months for an appointment. Someone went to our place for measurement and see what was possible to do and left saying we would receive a quote as they have recently done a similar kitchen to ours. I waited weeks for the quote and did not receive anything. I then emailed asking for it, received a reply saying they were busy and I would get my quote. That NEVER happened. Its been more than a month since the first appointment and they left us hanging. If they left us hanging for a quote I dont want to imagine if we actually made our kitchen with them. Guess well never know

    I am delighted with the new bathroom RKB installed in my house. This was a complete refurbishment, in quite a difficult space, and we were given excellent advice and help in designing a new layout and deciding on fittings, tiles, flooring and so on, right down to the last detail. There was no pressure selling of any sort. The work began on the agreed date and although there was a slight over-run this was for good reasons and was signaled in advance. All the materials were sourced in time, and were exactly as specified in the original design. The work itself was mainly done by one person (Louis) with specialists (electrician, plasterer) coming in for particular tasks, and this was all very well-managed, with no lost time and good communication between them and with us. All of the work done was to an exemplary standard, and great care was taken not to make a mess in our house, and to repair odd bits of unavoidable (minor) damage. All rubbish was cleared from the site. The back office operation (admin, invoices etc) is efficient and friendly. I particularly appreciated the fact that RKB take care of everything, from beginning to end - it is a very smooth operation. I think it was good value for money but even so this was a big expense by my standards, partly because of what we chose as regards fittings and so on, and so it was important to me that it be done just right - and it was! Overall, I can strongly recommend RKB.
