Fantastic venue for a function friendly staff and a good choice of beverages

Amazingly good POOL TABLE and very relaxed vibe. The staff and regulars were so friendly and they had a good selection of drinks. Hurricane ale was great, an IPA and Moretti on draft as well as the usual fosters, Guinness etc. You dont have to be a member to go in and see if you like the place but you get cheaper drinks if you decide to get a membership (10 a year when bought online). Its worth it just for the access to a great pool table in my opinion (70p a go). Theres also a juke box (1 for 5 songs). Its pure old school boozer energy and worth supporting them as a local. Off the beaten track but only 5 mins walk from the high street if you wanted food or more drinks elsewhere. There are also live music events on that you can see posted on their Facebook page. Clean recently refurbished toilets and very welcoming to new comers :)

I would encourage everyone to get membership. I've been going to the legion at Royston for about 15 years. Great prices, staff and atmosphere
