River Palace Cafe

Nice cafe close to river Lee. Inside and an outside seating area that is enclosed in poor weather.

Set in the Lee Valley, River Palace Cafe is well situated and offers a good choice of dishes to suit many tastes. The place was clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming and eager to serve. Our group had an issue with our order and once they were aware they very quickly resolved the issue and apologised, full marks for speed of service. Good size car park outside and I imagine the cafe might be crowded at busier times.

I visited this place mid week with friends but as it was in the Easter Holidays and on a sunny day it was busy. There's a pay and display car park outside and the parking wardens are quick so pay. up We parked our bikes in the racks provided outside. Despite being busy they took our food orders quickly and the food arrived freshly cooked, hot and in good sized portions. The prices are a little higher than you would expect from a cafe but the quality and portion size make up for that. The staff were friendly, approachable and efficient and in good spirits despite being very busy. Well worth a visit
