We have recently returned from a land tour of the Italian Lakes and cruise with Silversea booked through Imagine. Lakes tour was ok, but transfer times meant little time in resorts. Rep. Was a freelance who was brought in at the last minute and knew little about the company. Hotel in Varenna not 4 star standard, very small rooms. On the whole communication very poor. We didn't rate the cruise either as they did not meet my dietary needs as promised. Has put me off booking again as it was an expensive holiday and I felt we did not get value for money.

Absolutely appalled by this company and emerald cruising. Cutting a long story short, my mother booked a cruise in July 2022. Unfortunately and sadly she has been diagnosed with alzheimers and vascular dementia and has absolutely no recollection of booking or paying the 3500 for herself and my father. Due to her condition she also did not book any travel insurance and my father was unaware she had booked anything. This cruise only came to light last weekend when after numerous phonecalls, which she kept hanging up on, then eventually a call being answered by my daughter, did we know that she had booked it. Having sent a doctors letter confirming her diagnosis, as requested by Imagine cruising, which I believe was then forwarded to Emerald cruises, and numerous calls to each company, I have today been informed that neither company with give any form of refund, either full or part. This elderly couple would have just as well have been scammed out of this money. Never have I been so disgusted in company as I am today, and I await some form of correspondence in response to this from Senior Management.

Im going to say that we have had a good experience of Imagine Cruising ! A little hiccup with communication but that was a minor issue all told. The package we booked was amazing value. Five days in Bali in a lovely hotel then off to Singapore where we stayed a night in a hotel - not the one we were told and we didnt get an email telling us it had changed. However we are grown ups and worked it out as others had received emails . The Queen Elizabeth was a beautiful ship and we had a great balcony cabin. There was quite a bit of moaning and groaning but thats people for you . All I can say is that my husband and I enjoyed ourselves immensely and Imagine cruising really did what they advertised. We go to Mt Fuji tomorrow and I am fairly sure there will not be cherry blossom as its over and that kind of sold us the trip however I guess its like the Northern Lights - sometimes you dont get to see it! I read reviews before we left and felt rather worried however all has been good and at no time have we been left stranded. We will book again with them too.
