Royal Wootton Bassett Delivery Office

Id give 0 if was an option! Ebayer sent item first class Tues 28th. Now 5th April still not arrived! I tracked and just shows as whete posted from. I then tracked by RM tracking on telephone. It states received item. I then just spent 35 minutes in a queue to speak with someone. Apparently, they're supposedly short of staff and no deliveries today. However, there was a RM van drive up my street and park opposite, so I told them this. Lady explained that these items don't like new machines and have to be scanned by hand . So it takes 7-10 days. She said you should be told this when you post items. I said I've never been told. So basically, we're paying for a service we aren't getting, and they can't provide! Yet still hiking postage costs. No second or first, just when they can be bothered to deliver. She said fingers crossed it comes tomorrow. Ive registered a complaint as I cant even collect from sorting office as only open 8-10am! Ridiculous times.

It would be useful if they are open just 1 hour extra in the afternoon! 8-10am is not good enough!

Absolutely useless open a mere 2 hours 8-10am 5 days a week . No parking for customers and this is where my redirected mail goes 11 miles from my house . Appalling service by Royal Mail ! Get with the times like other couriers before you go into administration as your services are outdated and overpriced!

If you're planning to go to the Delivery Office to collect an item of mail that couldn't be delivered to you by Royal Mail. Please read the card they put through your door carefully. You'll notice that you can request the item to be delivered again, or can collect it in oersont at the delivery depot office for a very short period in the morning before 10.00am. So be sure to get there early!
