Very straight forward and easy. I weighed the jewelry and itemised as per instructions (optional). A valuation was given. I wasn't sure of the purity of one item and was pleasantly surprised to find it was 18 carat. The actual value was slightly higher than quoted on the day plus the 18 carat item was a major bonus. Only cost 6.85 to send special delivery. Paid in full following day of posting. I would have paid 80+ in commission on a popular auction website. Very happy with the service and honesty of GT UK ltd Would strongly recommend.

Found by chance when looking for somewhere to cash in my late fathers U.K. silver coins-mainly 1920-1947-non in pristine condition as found in a tin. Gold Traders have an interesting and informative website and made calculating an approximate value of the coins a relatively simple process. Immediate response upon submitting a claim form, advising of their estimate (subject to receiving the items) of the value based on that days valuation. Even advised how to post the coins and how to pack them. Posted one day by Royal Mail Special Delivery, and immediate email by 8.16am the following morning to say the coins had arrived. By10.52am an email updating the coin value, and by 5.07pm an email confirming the cash was in my bank account-all before a Bank Holiday weekend. Very impressed with professional and speedy manner in which my enquiry and subsequent claim was dealt with.
