He struck the perfect balance between organising us and helping us through the various shoots without imposing on our special day. I can't reccomend Nick enough. We booked Nick to be our wedding photographer at Hayne House and couldn't be happier with the results. Nick is professional, friendly and makes you feel completly at ease, comfortable and is very approachable. Would highly recommend.

From the moment we saw Nicks photos of previous Weddings online, we knew he was capable of some stunning photography who knew you could get so much enjoyment from looking at other peoples Wedding photos! We were also impressed with his online details where he guides you through the whole thought process of what you want to capture on the day and he mentions all those tiny details you would never think of yourselves. We had taken 25 years to get married, so it was really important to us to have a Wedding that was a bit different from the normal kind, but very intimate and special to us. At the interview with Nick he put us completely at ease, and it was clear Nick had picked up on the things that were going to be important to us. By the time of the Wedding, we already felt Nick was like a friend, and we had complete confidence in him capturing the day. Unprompted, our guests told us the next day what a lovely guy Nick was, and how he just felt like a natural part of the Wedding party. Nick must have covered so many Weddings, and yet he always seemed to be in the moment with us, and his enthusiasm never waned. He was super organised, making sure he included all the shots we had asked him to take, but he was also really quick to react to a developing situation or funny/unusual shot that presented itself. We could see how meticulous Nick was with his setup, but also could see all that creativity going on in his mind, as he leapt around with lights or trying a different angle or view. So we were confident Nick would produce some good photos, but when we got them back Wow ! Just wow! The quality of the pictures was absolutely fantastic, more than we could have ever hoped for - and we could see why Nick was excited to share them with us ! We had been a little worried that not having a videographer we might have missed capturing important moments. But we neednt have worried Nick managed to capture every single important/funny/poignant moment of the day, while never being intrusive and his obvious enjoyment and enthusiasm for his work was infectious. Looking at the photos, it enabled us to see the parts of the day we missed bridal party preparation, and groomsmen preparing and on the way to the venue and you really feel like you were there in the moment with them. Everyone who has seen the photos has mentioned how stylish they are classy, elegant, so evocative of the day and we just cant stop looking at them. In fact our only complaint about the whole process is that Nick has produced so many beautiful pictures, that we cant make up our minds which ones to have printed or made into an album! If you are looking for a Wedding photographer who will go the extra mile to make sure your special day is recorded exactly as you want, with stunning pictures to look forward to, then we cant recommend Nick highly enough !

Working in magazines and PR, we have dealt with a vast number of professional photographers over the years, therefore, we were always going to be picky when it came to the pictures of our big day! Nick's overall style, composition, use of light, and general eye for a good image leapt out when we were researching photographers. We loved his ability to cover off the formal, set piece, shots, while also shooting from the hip and grabbing the natural, fun, moments that seemed ideal for us. That very much proved to be the case on the day, in fact, Nick went above and beyond our expectations with his professionalism, thoughtfulness and easy-going nature. The end result is a set of images that we will treasure forever the perfect way to remember our wedding day.
