Do not use this lady. She lives in Surrey and doesnt come into Tunbridge Wells if there is traffic on the M25. Consequently, the dress (to be worn at a wedding in the US) was late, causing huge stress. The quote for the alternation was 30 - 60 - she charged 80 and complained that she would have a 4 hour journey home. If you want your alteration on time and at a reasonable cost, this is not the tailor for you. I had a similar, but more complex, alternation done at Rose Stitches in Camden Road. It was done overnight, was of a higher quality and cost just 20. Go there. Service: Alterations

Karen is fantastic! She was very welcoming when I arrived with my two children and accommodating (as I turned up unannounced not realising that I should have booked an appointment). I had a substantial tear on some netting at the bottom of a dress, and she has done an excellent job of repairing it. She also managed to turn it around within a couple of days. I will certainly be using Karen again in the future.

Unfortunately my dress ended up being too short. It was meant to be remeasured but the next time I saw Karen, it had been done to the previous measurements which we knew were wrong and there was no going back since the fabric had all been cut off. Very disappointing since its on my bridesmaid dress for the wedding in 3 weeks time, so I have now got to wear and buy flats. I was offered a discount but would of rather paid full price and it of been correct. Service: Alterations
