        Excellent traditional pub, named after the famous rocks, opposite. I probably had my first ever pint in this pub - the earlier incarnation before it was rebuilt after the fire - back in 1983. (Admittedly, I was only 16 ). We used to live in Bretland Road, only a short walk via Harmony Street, and Apsley Street. Back then, there was also the Toad Rock Tavern. For me, it's a short walk from the town centre, about 20 minutes. And you traverse the amazing Common.
