I am disappointed to have to put one staff,as it is unfair on many good staff at this clean hospital . But I feel I was let down so badly when I returned to the ward from surgery. This was down to poor pain management for the day of my surgery. I was left in excruciating pain until the night staff arrived .my clean need for pain relief was egnored. Their was also a very rude and uncaring nurse . I was left feeling afraid .until I eventually received pain relief by a night nurse praying

I wish to say thank you so much to Dr Ludgrove and his team. Can not fault in anyway. This hospital is clean, fresh, full of polite smiling staff that can not do enough to help. Vikki, Sophie and Gerry special thank you.

I was told I needed spinal fusion based on the surgeon thinking I had sciatica for a period of 7 years when in fact the actual period was 3 months. Shockingly, I have this in writing from the surgeon to my GP. I resisted going private and wanted to wait for the NHS to see me over back problems. Sadly this took four months so I caved, and following good recommendations came here to see a specialist. It seems the couple of people that I know have had a good service here, but I certainly have not. I feel completely chiselled out of almost 500 for a scan I didnt need, which hasnt been provided to anyone. My surgeon seems friendly and I hear is competent/ experienced but I am hugely unimpressed with how I have been treated. I very much regret ever stepping foot in there and would have more money in my account and would be in exactly the same situation physically had I not bothered. The most frustrating thing is that I would be happy to pay a lot more just to have got a good service and help with my back. I have since met with the Director, who has acknowledged that the Surgeon made a mistake when diagnosing me. I deem this to be a serious error that caused anguish for the weeks that followed but apparently its not. I was charged for a scan in March and here we are in October and I have only just seen my report and my request to have the scan has been ignored by the same surgeon. Needless to say the scan is over six months old and would need updating. I simply want a refund for the scan and a genuine apology.
