It didnt.
We called in advance to check they could manage our order. We called up a few days before and paid.
We called on the day to check again
All fine they said.
It was a 2 hour party. We had a fairly tight schedule.
They were 50 minutes late on the day.
All they had to do was be honest, give a realistic time and apologise
They did none of those things. We spent an awful amount of time trying to call for an update only to be fobbed off with its coming now/in 15 mins if only they had just said, were running close to an hour late. At least we could have worked around them more effectively
