Lovely traditional village garage, who still offer attended fuel service, with a smile and friendly conversation. I have always found them very helpful about vehicle problems I may have and checked oil and tyre pressures on site there and then while I waited. I believe the bad reviews stated about turning people away was during the fuel crisis, I have been getting my fuel here and cars serviced many years and will continue to support this lovely village garage. The staff are actually really helpful and really nice!!

He was turning people away who he doesn't remember as his customers waited blocking the road! I'd go elsewhere, a professional business shouldn't be turning anyone away based on personal prejudices

I was turned away today with 1/4 of a tank left as I'm not a "regular customer". In disbelief I witnessed the gent in front of me fill up 3 or 4 Jerry cans of fuel, and another lady was doing the same. I was very distressed when the proprietor came out and told me I couldn't fill up here. They had plenty of fuel... I was incredibly upset - I work in different schools teaching music & also I'm a classical musician so wasn't sure how I was going to get to work tomorrow & Sunday, I was panicking having tried many other garages already. I questioned why the locals could fill up several cans full, but I could not fill up my almost empty car. The proprietor then said he can't help me with any fuel, but could offer me a 20 note. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Incredibly selfish behaviour from all of humanity today, and I'm ashamed to be from this area! Hope they all enjoy sitting at home tonight surrounded by their cans full of fuel.
