        I met with Melanie den Brinker today for advice and help with my divorce papers. She has a great relaxed and understanding approach at what could be a difficult time, and yes that first 30 minutes is free. The time is also not dragged out just so they can charge you more. Very refreshing and highly recommended.

        Unfortunately, my experience of the firm's probate department is that in the course of administering an estate with a simple will over 6 months, they have no progress to report, are reluctant to provide any updates (I have yet to have any substantial update on the execution of a will in 6 months), and communications fall into a black hole. I have worked in the legal industry for over a decade and have never had this experience with any law firm nor known anyone to have this level of poor service.
