I have worked with David McMeeking on a couple of deals relating to a commercial building that sat in our SIPP pension fund. On the first occasion, when our commercial tenant defaulted on the lease, David was able to find another tenant within the same industry which meant we had minimal costs in relation to re-furbishing the building (the new tenant he found essentially took the building on an 'as is' basis). More recently, we engaged with him again to dispose of the building. Once again, he was able to find us the right buyer very quickly, and despite the complexities of selling a commercial property that is held within a SIPP arrangement, David's patience, dogged determination and professionalism were all key in ensuring the deal finally got across the line. Not good to deal with - everything on their website is old and to let - when you do contact them, they do not bother to get back to you, unless you keep trying, woman answering the calls is totally disinterest. When did eventually get through to David McMeeking he suggested the units were under private arrangement and did not bother to return calls. Who in their right mind would employ them as their agent!!
