REHEARSAL ROOM Unsatisfactory and inadequate Rehearsal Room for drummers. Rehearsed there recently and found 1. no clamping screw for the kick pedal - was told there wasnt one 2. only 2 cymbal stands - one with NO proper sleeve and no wing nuts. Danger of keyholing. 3. toms limited to 8" and 10" 4. drum skins beaten to hell - surface of the moon springs to mind 5. kit squeezed into a tight corner 6. room no bigger than one can swing a cat in 7. tiered tariff rates - 10 for a group of 3 BUT 12 for a group of 4 - there should be a discount as it gets quite cramped for a group of 4. 8. hardware strewn about on the floor 9. no complimentary coffee/tea 10. had to wait 15 mins before the last band were ready to leave. 11. 'organisers' were ineffectual in dealing with the issues with one stating " we work here for free " - in other words , what do you expect. 12. no locking bracket for the legs on the snare stand - sticky tape used to try and limit the up/down movements. 13. extremely limited parking - not good if you have to hump gear. Unless the drum kit is sorted, its very unlikely that I will be returning to sample this experience again.

Fantastic venue with great music, great soundsystem and good drinks, as well as comfy seating and an outdoor smoking area! Friendly staff and really nice atmosphere. Rehearsal room has all the required equipment for an average rock band, although sometimes took a while to set it up as some of the equipment's been moved elsewhere throughout the week. 10 for a band of three is reasonable, but more members require an extra 2 an hour, which could be a nuisance. Overall a great venue and good practice room!
