We had numerous issues with the previous builder which left us with a leaking roof on a log cabin. Jake was very professional from the outset. Provided numerous options of what we could do with different costs attached. The price was very reasonable. After providing the quote Jake gave us a date and time. Jake and his friend turned up on time every time and did an absolutely excellent job. Replaced felt roof with rubber roof, put correct tilt into the roof so that water can actually run off. He has restored my trust in the building trade again in that there are still good tradesmen out there! Thank you Jake and to your friend for getting our roof fully waterproofed again! UPDATE Following Jake's message in response to this feedback, a third party inspection has confirmed his poor work caused the damage to my property and the doctors surgery he did the work for have asked him to take some responsibility for the issues caused. Jake's refused and the doctors now have to use vital monies needed to fight this pandemic to either pay for repairs, pay lawyers to fight him, or I pay myself. BACKGROUND Jake fitted a new roof to the property adjacent to mine, messed up the seal between the two properties and it then leaked causing damage to my property. He tried to cover up his poor work by blaming my roof that had never, ever, leaked. I gave photographic evidence to show that it's his seal that's come away, and HE EVEN CAME AND REPAIRED it!! yet is still denying it was faulty, he just repaired it because he's a nice guy!!! He seems to have assumed I want a free roof when all I wanted was him to put right the damage he knowingly caused. Instead of even talking to me he's basically caused this arguement. Oddly he's now suggesting I tried to con him. He left the roof unprotected during the build, it rained really heavily and flooded my lounge and soaked my laptop. He could see the damage. Did I complain? No. Did I ask for a penny? No. Plus he invited me to use his skip and then writes a silly message about it before.
